About Us

Maria Loreto is a Private School founded in 2015. Our goal is to raise holistic children by maximizing their potential. Our aim is the complete education of the child both morally and psychologically with the emphasis being put on developing a sound basis in character formation, religion and discipline.

Meaning of Maria Loreto

Loreto is the site of the Santa Casa, the childhood home of the Virgin Mary, which, according to legend, was miraculously transported by angels from Nazareth to Loreto in the 13th century.

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to Maria Loreto School, a truly special institution nestled in the serene and beautiful surroundings of Kikuyu, Kidfarmaco.

At Maria Loreto, we are committed to providing a holistic education that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit of every child. As a Christian day school grounded in strong Christian values, we uphold the highest standards of integrity, discipline, and excellence, guided by our motto, “Virtue et Scientia” (character and knowledge.)

Our goal is to inspire every learner to reach their full potential. While we place strong emphasis on academic excellence, we also strive to nurture each child’s unique talents and passions. From sports, art , music (piano, guitar, violin, vocals, recorder, ballet, and clarinet) to chess, robotics, coding, aviation, golf, public speaking, and leadership training,our programs are designed to prepare learners for life beyond the classroom. We also expose our learners to global opportunities to equip them for success in an ever-changing world.

We take great pride in the strong partnership we share with parents and guardians. Together, we build a nurturing environment where learners grow in confidence, compassion, and competence.
